With a Happy Heart

CRAZY is a part of life

Including the CRAZY

Frees us

From a conditional life

That perpetually disappoints

Needing things to be a certain way

Locked into an Ideal

Needing the fairy tale

Without getting lost in the dark forest

Without experiencing twists and turn

No one goes through life unscathed

 No one gets a pass from the CRAZY

We are truly all in the CRAZY together

We are all living this CRAZY GOOD Life

Some recognize this

Some do not

Some will come to see this

Some will not

Bring on the CRAZY GOODness!

 

With my cat, Jefferson perched on my head and my other kitty, Beauty burrowed in between my knees, I laid there in my bed.  Life is sooooo CRAZY GOOD! were my last thoughts as I drifted to sleep after an adventurous day that unfolded in unexpected ways.  Reviewing the day, I giggled with delight. Each day brings surprises far grander than Christmas morning if we dare to welcome the moments, staying present to all that comes our way:  moments of CRAZY and moments of GRACE – all GOOD!  Recalling all of the new people I connected with at the coffee shop, walking down the streets of Nashville, on the elevator in my building, out on the town with friends, I give thanks for my life and this sacred dance I am privileged to express.  There is a magic to life that makes it all CRAZY GOOD when we allow our Self to be present to whatever arises drifting with the seas through storms and calm, knowing we can sail our ships, navigating whatever comes, making choices that free the joy that lies within us and declaring that life is damn good! 

The invitation this day is to recognize that someday may never come and waiting for things to go our way, placing conditions on life robs us of the beauty and joy available right here and right now, breath by precious breath.  This is life:  CRAZY GOOD!  In our craziest moments, GOODness is ever-present.  And in our BEST moments, crazy is ever-present.  To hold it all, to hold the paradox of life liberates us and allows energy to flow through us wave by wave by wave until our adventure here is done.  And one day, will indeed be our last day.  There is no promise of tomorrow so don’t wait for some ideal, some story you falsely believe will suddenly make life good.  Our golden years are actually golden moments, right here and right now if we claim the bounty that is.  There will never be another day just like this one so enjoy it!  There will never be another human being just like you so appreciate all that makes you “you”!  There will never be a day that isn’t crazy and isn’t good so choose a CRAZY GOOD Life!  You deserve all that is GOOD.  Let your Happy Heart lighten this day come what may.
