Let’s DANCE.

The Super Bowl was so painful for me to watch as Peyton Manning and the Broncos never showed up.  The team that had dominated all season setting records and shattering limits was nowhere to be found on Sunday.  I sat there stunned unable to believe what I was seeing; but loving the human story where the Spirit triumphs over statistics and probabilities, I appreciate what the Seahawks displayed showing us anything is possible when we tap into the depths of our Self and believe! believe! believe!

This Cinderella story made for great headlines and commentaries but what hit home with me was the Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson sharing the words that still feed him and urge him on spoken by his dying father:  Why NOT you?!  Wilson’s dad passed away in 2010 and they were having conversation about him being drafted in spite of his size.  Wilson is 5’ 11” which by NFL quarterback standards is short with the average height being 6’ 3”.  With the wisdom of the question Why NOT You?! echoing within him, Wilson dared to believe against all odds showing up passionately pursuing his dream, standing tall in who he is, discovering more of him Self, dancing into the NFL and in just his second season becoming a Super Bowl champ. 

The invitation this day is to meet your Self, more of your Self willing to show up, to dare, to risk, to ask Why Not me?!  It is a game changer when we live conscious assessing beliefs, attitudes, choices and patterns in order to see with eyes wide open what leads us forward into the life you absolutely love and what holds us back keeping the life we long for at bay, out of reach where we settle for a life that dulls our sense of aliveness.  This isn’t about achieving something outwardly great; it is about feeling and freeing the power of Love within us which feels great.  We are designed by our very nature to stretch and grow!  And even when we feel uncomfortable in the experience of reaching for more, we ultimately feel damn good as we come alive in the dance.  Remind your Self affirming the Truth of you all day:  Yesss…Me!  Why NOT Me?!  I BELIEVE in Me!  Tapping into your higher Self that is truly limitless, you let go of the conditional thinking and go into the soul which longs to take you on a ride into all that you are and all you can do for the joy of it, for the love of living this adventure.  And because the soul is a limitless force, no one knows how far you can go!
