Shutting

Organically

The Innate

JOY

HOPE

GRACE

BEAUTY

LOVE

TRAGEDY

Certain Death

To Live OPEN

ALIVE

Passionate

IS Divine

SEEING

To LOVE

Counting

Our Blessings

Our Blessedness

Even when

Darkness

Comes

Allows

A Flicker

Of Light

From

The Fire

ETERNALLY

Burning

Within

The BREATH

Of Life

To flow

In the midst

Of pain

Of anxiety

Of stress

That washes

Our Shore

LOVE

Makes life

POSSIBLE

Fueling

DREAMS

As the sky falls

The door closes

Life as we knew It

ENDS

Without our Consent

A life of LOVE

Our capacity

To LOVE

Is beyond

MEASURE

For our

SACRED HEART

Divinity

EMBODIED

Is Vast

Limitless

 MIRACULOUSLY

Containing

The HEART

The LOVE

Of

The heavens

And

The Earth.

Yesterday while watching the rain hit the windows at various rhythms, I soaked up the beauty.  It was a gray day with no sign of the sun but my heart was bursting with light.  Ohhh, I felt the love pour from the depths of me breath by magic breath and was in awe of this miracle that is my life.  Standing there connected to my Self and to all of Creation, the thought flashed:  How do we love a life that breaks our hearts?!  Our shared story is that none of us goes through life unscathed.  We all get our asses handed to us through heart break, tragedy and disappointments.  And yet, beyond reason, beyond explanation, beyond our limited thinking, beyond our ego that wants what it wants when it wants it, we keep on going in our brokenness.  Experiencing that which we would have never wished for; the essence of who we are love, this immeasurable force contains it all and makes us whole.  We are the sum of our experiences on a human level and we are much much more as we are souls embodied that know no matter what: Life is Beautiful…Life is Wondrous…Life is Awesome…Life is damn good.  And living in the Truth of who we are:  This force of Love – Soul POWERED – This is how we LOVE a life that certainly will break us and will just as certainly make us whole again and again until our last day.  

I was driving home from my houseboat in Kentucky on Monday evening when I felt my late-husband, John brush the top of my right hand.  It was unexpected and absolutely lovely.  His energy distinct with a sense of utter joy is playful and nurturing, I sipped this intimate experience into my bones.  And with sheer gratitude for the life we shared and the connection that deepens and surprises me in the most wondrous way, I took my hand and placed it on my right cheek holding his energy, feeling him touch my face as he had done a thousand times over our years together.  I wept.  The Love cannot be extinguished between souls.  The Love we are and life is fuels and feeds us and ushers us into more Love yet to be tasted.  How divine! 

The invitation this day is to be in awe at How you can LOVE life even when it breaks you and takes you to your knees.  Ohhh, The Power that lies within us is no less than the Love of the Universe, The Sacred Heart, The Soul Force – Amazing Grace that does what we alone cannot.  How we Love this life is truly beyond us, beyond our human Self that wants things to be a certain way and expects life to be fair and orderly instead of messy, unpredictable, uncertain.  We can contain the totality of this human experience because we are creatures of Soul embodied.  We are far more than we can even imagine and loving this life for what it is, for the gift it is, we know heaven while still on earth.
