At
this point in my life, I get amused by the journey of a day
ever-unfolding. There are plans I make
and the day always takes me into surprises – unexpected experiences that wash
up in the moments taking me where I could not and would not have planned. And my ability to be present to it all fills
me with awe at the ever-flowing ease I live in that makes life so damn sweet
even in the midst of the bitter. Freedom
lies in not placing conditions on my Self or on the events. I simply trust: It is
ALL Good. Even when I wake up
walking sideways with heavy eyes and a foggy brain, my grateful heart can only
sing a song of love echoing Thank you…
Thank you…Thank you…all day come what may.
My intention to create a life I love fiercely fuels me, holds me steady fortified
by Truth, grounded in Faith, Trust and Certainty, moment by moment, day by day
understanding this is the greatest legacy, the truest treasure I place in the
hearts of generations to come.
Observing
the emotional weather instead of diving into the storm floundering and drowning
– overwhelmed by life – we make space for the shift. Waves of emotions roll in and they roll out
like the tides ebbing and flowing. I am
certain that the only thing certain is Life is ever-changing. We are ever-changing. The journey of a day reveals this again and
again if we are willing to witness the orchestration of the day mining for the
gold, gathering the gifts ever-present in that which we would never wish for
and that which brings the joy. Consciously
allowing whatever comes liberates us from our minds that lock us into fixed
ideas of how life should be or how we
should be.
The
invitation this day is to observe your Self with complete compassion, loving
your Self up in moments of crazy and
moments of grace – giving your Self the human hall pass instead of trying to
walk on water. Witness your Self, the
journey of a day delighting in the discovery of you – what trips your trigger? What pisses you off? What sends you into a tailspin? What are your saving graces? What do you have control over and what are
you trying to control that is beyond your control? Do you laugh?
Can you find your way to the humor in situations that arise? Are you kind and patient with your Self? Are you breathing into the whole of your body
or is stress gripping your breath keeping it at your throat? Do you feel grateful or resentful? Do you feel free or stuck? Do you dare
to make choices that honor you?
creating a life you absolutely love, understanding how you spend your
day is how you spend your life. Journey
with joy this day! Keep your heart light
through the power of laughter – be amused by your personal odyssey ever-guiding, leading
you home to the love you are, the
beauty that is, the peace that lies within you and the joy in living that makes
life so rich.
