Here we are.  Here we go.  2014:  Let’s do this!  Choice by choice, moment by moment, day by day, let’s welcome 2014, let’s welcome more of our Self ready to play, let’s consciously invite new ways of being and visions of living a life where we are home within our Self and within the world no matter what.  You are worth fighting for!  You deserve a life you absolutely love!  You are worthy of the goodness and the miracles that abound!  Yours for the claiming – just say Thank you!  More please!  all day long and expect the gold to be revealed even in the moments you want to wish away.

Each year for the last 15 years of my life, I have chosen a word in order to explore the word beyond definition wanting to embody it and live it.  Last New Year’s Day, after a harsh Christmas holiday and grief cycle that had kicked my ass, I sat with my Self asking what I wanted now for my life.  From the depths of me truth rang and rang:  I just want my life to be EASY.  My life had been hard for so long – my brother’s long illness and death, my mom’s 14 year health crisis and death, running my business, my late-husband, John’s bypass surgery and death.  Heavy SHIT!  But all of it my life, my precious life gracing me with love and beauty even in the harshest moments.  I sat there completely open to what’s next and had no answers but my openness set the intention that I wanted to experience EASY.  In truth, my life had never been Easy; and at times, I actually was the one who made it harder on myself than was necessary but it is all grist for the mill. 

The power of intention is undeniable!  What we invite, what we hold in our consciousness will lead us into the discovery of more of our Self, of the truth – where we have power and where we don’t – when we exercise our power of choices and when we fail to stand in our power of choice caging our Self, blaming others and making others responsible for our precious life.  Becoming aware of our own bullshit is LIFE CHANGING!  And being compassionate when we bust our Self, seeing our bullshit in full view is essential.  Laugh out loud when you recognize your BS and don’t judge your Self as bad or wrong.  We are all blind and with amazing grace, we SEE and see more and see more all life-long.  This makes the journey FUN!

2013 showed me what made life EASY and what made it hard.  Every day choices came front in center to honor my Self, to claim the easy life I wanted and deserve to experience.  I let go!  I let go of a home that I had loved realizing that it made life harder than I wanted it to be and now, I live in a condo that is easy breezy.  I let go of a life that used to fit, a dream that I hold with deep gratitude but plugging myself into it deadened me.  This new lifetime within my life excites the hell out of me every single day and the ease in which I navigate my life brings a sense of joy, peace, hope and love that I never knew existed.  My life is Easy and I know that flowing with what I need and want has freed this energy, this way of being allowing me to live this dream wide open and awake to the beauty of this dance.

The invitation is to welcome 2014:  DO THIS!  Do this year making it the best ever.  Like a fine wine we just get better…better…OH, THE BEST is yet to be!  Get real with your Self allowing the truth of your heart’s desires to guide you into a depth of love and living like you have never known before.  Do This!  Set an intention and be present to your Self and the experiences that come your way allowing them to show you the way home.  The cage door is always open and your choices, exercising your power of choice will allow you to fly free soaring into a life you absolutely love that feeds your cravings and excites the hell out of you every single day come what may.  Loving our life and living beyond the conditions not needing things to be a certain way we live in the BEAUTY of this dance FREE.
