Meeting LIFE

Right here

As it IS

Accepting its OFFERINGS

Ever-gifting

ALLOWing the GOOD

To come

The JOURNEY

Shifts

INWARD

Time of REFLECTION

Excavating

Dormant potential

Fertilized from

All that died off

Going WITHIN

Only to GROW

Renew

Bears & animals hibernate

Plants shut down

Storing energies to FEED off

Until the warmth

RETURNS

Incubating

Sitting on OUR NEST

Knowing LIFE will hatch

Again

And

Again

Ever-flowing

In spite of

Our resistance

Our protest

Our moans & groans

Our kicking & screaming

We hunker in

The GREAT indoors

ALIVE!

Resting

Playing

Bricks & martyr

Flesh & bone

Warmed by FIRES

HEARTS aglow

Rituals

Guided by SOUL

The new YEAR comes

Giving THANKS

No matter the Season.

This winter day ever so quiet, ever so still invites a rest from the outside world.  I step inside my Self at a depth I have never been where doors close and doors open, cycling beginnings and endings, endings and beginnings that I experience in every breath.  At play with the universe circling through me as me, through you as you, we are co-creators ushering in new life whose time has come.  I feel the possibilities bubbling up from the spring within even in the frozen waters.  Life ever-growing, ever-flowing in ways not always visible in this mystical season where we retreat inward letting go of what was and anticipating the more that is sure to come, we are midwives in this birth.  This season rich, blessed and abundant fortifies our inner foundation, grounded in Spirit; we have an opportunity to stand solid as a rock in Faith, Trust and absolute certainty knowing the power we embody. 

The invitation is to OPEN your heart to this season bearing gifts beyond measure and welcome the winter to come with all its offerings of reflection, renewal and rebirth.  Let it remind you of the Abundance that is ever-present within you, within all life, within every moment – yours for the claiming!  An inspired life springs from your Spirit ever-free not confined by the conditions as it is OPEN to all that comes anticipating the treasures presented all day long.  Let the fires aglow warm your bodies and ignite the passion within yet to be lived.  Bundle up, wrap your Self in love, grab some hot chocolate, a chai latte or coffee and journey inward – trusting that dancing with the universe includes sitting still.  Winter comes bringing a new rhythm of harmony:  Do.
