What LOVE does! 

I observe life, mine and yours, all that goes on around me engaged in this dance with my heart valves wide open flowing, living, showing up, delighting in the gifts ever-present moment by moment.  This love I carry with me into the days wasn’t always felt especially at this intensity and depth; I have found that there is actually enough love in this moment to fill the cracks, to heal the pain, to cauterize the wounds of the past so life’s blood can flow freely and wildly through me.  What LOVE does never ceases to shock me and surprise me!  LOVE, our love, my love, your love is the MIRACLE!  LOVE is a force so great, so vast that more pours through us into the world – limitless in what IT does.  The power of LOVE undeniable.  We are miracle makers offering our LOVE with no strings attached only heart strings playing our truest song, touching heaven within our Self, within others right here and right now.  To withhold LOVE fighting against what is natural clogs our vitality, dams the HOPE, the JOY, the GRACE, the BEAUTY we are.  But loving for the sheer joy giving, giving, giving from the purest place nourishes us as we live in Truth.

I remember feeling powerless wanting to do something, ANYTHING to help my brother, Michael when he was battling cancer.  I knew how to take charge, to get shit done and this served in conversations with the doctors and advocating for his care; but the greatest gift Michael gave me was reminding me that my LOVE, my very presence, being with him, his wife and sons was the greatest gift I could give – my LOVE was the miracle.  And I know that because he knew he was loved in a way that he never had before he died healed.  Prior to this, he was still tangled, stuck in the past when love was absent, when he couldn’t feel it, when he experienced trauma at the hands of those who were supposed to care for him and said they loved him but their actions contradicted this.  Michael glowed as he was dying, as his body was deteriorating basking in the miracle of LOVE.  He was made whole embodying this LOVE.  He was completely free grounded and soaring in the unshakeable foundation of LOVE. 

 

The whole of my life has shown me what love is and what love isn’t but I consciously began this journey into exploring What LOVE does! over 10 years ago when Michael was first diagnosed and I know there is much much more to be revealed this day and all of my days.  And I completely certain of one thing:  LOVE creates MIRACLES!  blowing the heavens, amazing grace through us our very being into others, into this world.  Expressed through actions, through silence, through our presence, through the pure exchange of energy, LOVE is a force like no other.

The invitation this day and in this season of LOVE is to open your eyes, open your heart, open all of your Self to experiencing What LOVE does!  Feel your way.  Observe acts of kindness and take in the love from witnessing these miracles.  Give your love freely knowing your heart serves all including you and your judgment serves no one.  Meet your Self wherever you are with love so you can meet people wherever they are with love.  Be the love that you long to receive for in giving and sharing your divine essence it washes upon your shore more gloriously than you can imagine.  To withhold love what is so natural building walls, barriers believing we are protecting our Self creates staleness stripping us from a sense of connection to our Self and all.  Let the dams burst LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! And experience What LOVE does!  Know that your love is indeed the healer.  Your love is the MIRACLE.  Wow!  Wow!  Wow!  What LOVE does...
