CALLing Me Home

The lake gods

The energies of Lake Cumberland

CALLing me home

The PULL undeniable

Familiar

Known

Inviting me to rest

Within her

Within my Self

Inspiring me to play

In her chilly waters

In her invisible forces

Churning up new ideas

Washing away what must go

Stirring

Stoking

Soothing

Invigorating

Healing

MAGIC!

An Eagle

Soared right above me

Stealing my breath

Ahhhhh!

Ushering me into higher realms

Awakening new vision

Stretching me

Discovering more of My Self

Perching in my soul

Where he eternally resides

Flying me into the great unknown

Mystically expanding me

Mind, body, heart & soul

MIRACULOUS!

The stars greeted me

As night fell

Showering

Multiplying

Morphing

Bubbling

Pulsing through me

Hope

Peace

Joy

Love

Grace

GLORIOUS!

Communing

Swirling

Connecting

Illuminating

Reminding me:

WE ARE MADE OF STARS!

Lighting the way

Moment by moment

Breath by breath

As I laid there

Fully engaged

As I explored

Corridors within

Ready to open

Welcoming me home

The morning comes

Walking onto the back of the boat

I meet this day

Still & dark

No sign of light

Gratefully present to what “is”

A fish jumps from the waters

Delighting me in the surprise

Mirroring possibilities

Urging me on

 To BELIEVE!

To keep swimming up stream

Come what may

Through currents & waves

But don’t forget I too can JUMP!

Higher than I think I can…

ALL of this sweetness

From daring to answer the CALL!

The invitation this day is to tune in and listen to that sweet song calling you home, to your truest Self, your Self beyond the conditions, the circumstances, the chaos and the roles.  Grab a blanket and sit outside.  Lock yourself in the bathroom.  Go to a sacred place within the world, within your Self.  Find rest.  Make it safe to explore, to discover, to want, to dream, to come alive in the knowing there is MORE, there is always more.  Magic!  Glorious! Miraculous!  Believe IN THE BEAUTY that you are and dare to taste the abiding sweetness.
