My recipe for
LIVING:
FEED the whole of
YOU
Mind, body, heart
& soul
Moment by moment
Choice by choice
Day by day
Come what may!
I
have literally and metaphorically eaten
my way through Nashville over the last 6 months, relishing every opportunity,
saying YES! to invitations and showing up for the new adventures presented in
the moment, day by day. I have tasted
the sweetness, the juicy, the savory, the bitter, the burnt and charred, the unpalatable
and the yummmmmm – All gifts as I mix
it up and discover enlivened and refreshed by the exploration. This life is a banquet! Feasting on life isn’t about what is served
but our willingness to stay open, sampling new offerings, savoring the
experiences for the sake of experiencing, coming alive with a sense of
gratitude for the privilege to live this life.
Recognizing there is no one way,
no one recipe for living but knowing
it is a good life and each of us gets to decide what makes life good; being
fully aware when we taste the pure
goodness and who we are with when our senses are ignited with passion that
fuels all of us: mind, body, heart and soul.
The
invitation this day is to start from scratch, let the page be blank ready for
new recipes. Ask What sounds GOOD?! What am I
hungry for NOW?! What can I COOK up
today?! What SPICES will I try?! Even the smallest openings and
adjustments bring BIG floods of new energies as we are wired to explore. Know that you have options, you have choices
to omit this and add that, stand in your power and choose from where you are now in your life, nourishing your needs
and wants that are ever-changing. Your JOY in living is your own unique Recipe for LIVING as you relish the
flavors of this life that awaken your senses.
There is much, much, much more to be discovered through going within and
venturing out into the world OPEN,
letting go and reaching for more, willing to be uncomfortable, tasting ALL of
life AND coming to see life truly is a banquet, the grandest FEAST. GO AHEAD:
Take a bite…spit out what you don’t like…make a yuck face…sample something else…savor the deliciousness…Yummmmmm…ENJOY!
